Free Project – Needlepainting Flower for Beginners26.03.2018 / byFree Designs Admin
This free pattern is meant as an introduction to the wonderful art of needlepainting. Needlepainting is often seen as a very difficult and impressive technique, but while it’s certainly impressive, it doesn’t have to be so difficult! I love needlepainting and I love to share the technique and get more people bitten by this particular embroidery bug 😉 This pattern will explain step by step how to embroidery a little viola flower. It also explains how to prepare and start your embroidery and how to finish the embroidered work and make it ready to be framed. Give it a try, and I hope you enjoy stitching! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY A little bit of hand embroidery skills would be useful SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS It depens on how large you want to make the final, mounted piece, but mine was about 13×13 cm. The embroidery itself measures about 5×5 cm.
