Option #1 – We’ll post it for you

  • Be sure to include the following info:
    • Company info
    • Website link
    • Design image 
    • .Zip file with the formats you offer
    • Terms of Use
      • Example: You may NOT distribute this design or use it commercially.

 

  • Our Policies for post we make for you:
    • We will not keep a copy of it without your permission.
    • Your design will be removed promptly upon request.
    • We may repost or link to your design, on facebook or one of our other sites, to bring in more traffic.

 

Option #2 – Become a site Author and Post them yourself

  1. Register.
  2. Email support@freedesigns.com and let us know you are a design vendor and we will upgrade your account to contributor
  3. Post a your free design.
  4. Wait for us to approve the post
  5. Enjoy extra traffic to your site.

Phase 1: Contributor

During this phase you can create your own posts and  attach your own media, but all your posts will have to be approved before they become visible to our users.

Phase 2: Author

Once you have been a contributor for a while we may choose to upgrade you to author.  All posts will be instantly live without our approval

 

We are currently allowing these categories: (Feel free to email us and suggest a new category)

  • Embroidery Images and Patterns
  • Sewing Patterns
  • Quilting Images and Designs
  • Related Instructional Videos

 

Post Requirements:

  • All posts must include a picture of the design
  • All posts must include the attached design for download
    • We recommend a Zip file with all the formats AND a README.TXT file with your company info in it.
    • We understand you want them to goto your site, but the purpose of this site is to provide samples.  If they like your freebie they will search you out.

 

 What you can do:

  • Each post you make must contain a NEW free design.
  • Post a picture of your free design and include a link to download it and a link to visit your business.
  • You may include a weblink and email address to your business
  • You may only post within the specific categories above.

 

What you can NOT post:

  • You may not post advertisements for your business.
  • You may not post about a free design that you’ve already offered unless that post was deleted.  (repeatedly deleting and posting will get you suspended)
  • You may not post a design that you do not own the rights to.
