Simple, customizable utility half-apron with long waist ties and lower and upper pockets divided into smaller pockets for holding a number of different items. Apron skirt is edged with bias binding. Pockets are self-faced. Skirt may also be faced, simply cut out two skirt pieces and baste together. Fabric needed: ¾ yard of 42” – 44” wide main color for apron skirt, waistband and waist ties. Lower and upper pocket and bias binding in contrasting colors take an additional 7/8 yard of 42” – 44” wide fabric. Uses small amount of interfacing. Customized taller sizes may call for more fabric. Fabric choices include ticking, lightweight denim, and washable decorator fabrics for skirt;, cotton and cotton blends, poplin, linens, shirting for pockets. Downloads include separate components for the main apron pattern, the contrasting bias binding and pockets patterns, and also for the photo instructions. I have also included a separate download for instructions for printing out your PDF pattern using screen shots.
