Free Project – Entrelac ScarfNovember 5, 2015 / byFree Designs Admin / Categories : Free Printables, Free Project
Entrelac is a technique used to create a textured diamond pattern. The resulting fabric looks like woven knitted strips but is actually knitted in one piece. The technique looks more difficult than it is! This scarf is the perfect introduction to entrelac and is great for beginners.
WARNING: People will “ooh!” and “aah!” over this scarf when you wear it. They will also think you are a knitting genius when you tell them you made it yourself. The actual simplicity of the pattern will be our little secret. 😉
New to Entrelac? Or just need some extra help? Staci Perry of verypink.com created a wonderful video tutorial based on this pattern. Download the pattern and follow along with her as she teaches you every step involved in the making of this scarf!
